The group met at the Millersburg Mennonite Church to learn about the Local Food Systems website and work on identifying interests and needs around agriculture in Holmes County.  Individuals were encouraged to log into the Local Food Systems site and list their ideas under "Explore Your Business Idea". By  posting the ideas,   other entrepreneurs and business supporters can help to start "agricultural business ecosystems" for Holmes County.

We said that we would meet in January to explore more connections and ideas around value added ag opportunities in Holmes County area.  I am tossing out 3 potential dates to meet at 5:00 p.m. at the Millersburg Mennonite Church on E. Jackson St.  January 12, January 19 or January 24.  We can meet later if that suits better.  Please let me know if that works for you.

Thank you.

We will be meeting on January 24, 2012 at the Millersburg Mennonite Church(288 E. Jackson St.), Millersburg, Ohio.  Our discussion will be  identifying current and potential business enterprises that could support and relate to each other by using local agricultural product and ag related enterprises. These ideas and businesses would help form business ecosystems around agriculture.   Nathan Hilbert and I will be working with you to start mapping the ideas and resources we have and what might be needed to move folks together.
