This group focused on value added processing for dairy products suggested three opportunities that would benefit local dairy industry:

1. A gathering of stakeholders to identify needs and resources for value added dairy products.

2. Educational programs on basic topics such as basic cheesemaking, advanced topics such as cheese storage and packaging, regulatory compliance and marketing.

3. Establish a dedicated staff person for technical assistance on dairy value-added processing.
