Join Countryside Conservancy and Ohio CAT at Nickajack Farms for a workshop on farm machinery. Experienced farmers and those new to farming will benefit from seeing, trying out, and driving    equipment commonly used on Ohio farms. 
Come to Nickajack Farms at 2955 Manchester Ave NW, North Lawrence, OH 44666 from 9:00am till noon on Saturday, October 31st. There is no charge for this event and a continental breakfast will be served.

Join OSU's Agroecosystem Management Program and Organic Valley on September 24th for an oilseed pressing workshop at Mellinger Farm, including a demonstration of Organic Valley's mobile seed press.

We will cold-press seed from the canola, sunflower, flax and camelina grown in research plots at Mellinger farm, and will share our experiences working with these crops.
