Body:
The project chosen at the 2010 Stinner Summit was titled the Polyfarming Project. Taking advantage of increased corn yields when the corn is planted in strips, the idea is for a corn farmer to leave strips in a field and another specialty crop farmer to grow vegetables in those strips. Increased crop diversity may make the field more productive overall, and the interaction between the two farmers will create learning opportunities for both.
