There is tremendous opportunity within cities and outlying suburbs, to create new economic drivers through food production, and the niches that emerge related to food production.
This group will be a starting place for discussion, tracking examples, issues, opportinities. We are interested here in waste re-use, specialty crop initiatives, inner city and suburban eduction, neighborhood gradens, urban permaculture, solar, wind, and living technology energy, and using open source information technology infrastructure to help sustain urban local food business and commerce.
Membership is open, and you may also join when you register.
