The Wallace Center and Michigan State Univesrity Center for Regional Food Systems  have released their 2013 National Food Hub Survey findings.  Key findings point out that food hubs are financially viable businesses and they create jobs.  The food hubs are growing because of the demand and they do help the small and mid-sized producers.  For more of the survey results check out http://foodsystems.msu.edu/uploads/file/resources/2013-food-hub-survey.pdf.   If you would like more, there is a webinar October 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. called "Interpreting the Recent Food Hub Surveys" Go to https://connect.msu.edu/richpirog to participate.
