Building a local food economy depends on educating consumers about the importance of local farm products. Parker Bosley, teacher, chef, and advocate has led the way in Northeast Ohio for over 25 years. In his honor, a brunch is planned for January 24th at St. Ignatius School in Cleveland where we will celebrate all that has been accomplished in creating a demand for local foods since Parker started.
For details, go to www.IFOH.org or call Mary Holmes at 440-423-0859. Proceeds will benefit Innovative Farmers of Ohio, an organization Parker works with building consumer demand and farmer capacity. If you would like your organization listed in the program book as contributing to the local food movement, contact Mary at email@example.com.
